Community Overview

SIMI VALLEY, CA

Simi Valley offers an array of shopping sites, numerous family parks, varied recreational opportunities including sports and softball leagues, arts and craft programs as well as other educational programs.  The Town Center Mall includes many shops and a dinner movie theatre.  Simi Valley is the home of the Air Force One at the Ronald Reagan Presidential library.  See plays and events at the Simi Cultural Arts Center.  Simi Valley has a great climate and an extremely low crime rate.  The community is a short distance to the San Fernando Valley for commuters.  It is close to other cities such as Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village where you can experience the amenities of those communities as well.  Beaches are a short distance away.

VENTURA COUNTY, CA

Ventura county offers many beaches.  Harbor Village and Fishing Marina feature 35 shops, galleries, restaurants, and waterfront activities, including Village Carousel & Arcade, a comedy club, wine bar, dive and fishing boats, harbor tours, boat, kayak, and peddle boat rentals, and a beautiful walking promenade.

Ventura County’s  shopping options range from the largest chain stores to locally owned boutiques. The historic downtown is a mix of coffeehouses, outdoor cafes, restaurants, performing arts groups, retail shops, spas, salons, health clubs, antique stores, art galleries, museums, and historic buildings such as Mission San Buenaventura.

TEHACHAPI, CA

The beautiful Tehachapi Valley is a mountain community located in the mountains above the San Joaquin Valley offering a cool retreat from the city.   Fresh air and sparkling blue skies turn into star filled nights.  The beauty of Tehachapi is seen in every setting. The diversity of the area offers something for everyone, small town neighborhoods, mountains filled with oak and pine trees sheltering the most rustic to the most luxurious homes, sprawling ranches and everything in between, deer, elk and other wildlife all beautifully displayed in the splendor of four wonderfully distinct seasons.   Tehachapi has a historic Downtown that hosts many events such as the annual Mountain Festival, wine tasting, rodeo and bicycle marathon.  It is the home of the famous Tehachapi Loop and Tehachapi Depot Historical Museum.  There is the Woodward West Action Sports Camp and the Triassic Legacy Vineyards Tasting Room.  There are many mountain communities within Tehachapi.  For example, Bear Valley Springs is a gated community that offers golfing, tennis, swimming, archery, a shooting range, equestrian center and trails, lakes and offers many community events to it’s residents.  Tehachapi is approximately a 2 hour commute from the greater Los Angeles area.  A great place to retire or enjoy a vacation home.  If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the beauty, fresh air, wildlife and peace and quiet, Tehachapi fits the bill!  It’s still very affordable living with a median price of approximately $350,000!
